We invite you to join Geoffrey Higgins, Matara’s founder, for a workshop exploring the principles and practices for achieving well-being, including:
• Meditation to release latent energy, quieten the mind and broaden your horizons
• Exploring free-flow thinking, a natural and creative way of thinking that reduces stress, channels energy in positive ways and leads to new insights for achieving value fulfilment without struggle or effort
• Working with the seven chakras, the key energy centres of the body, to maintain harmony and balance, leading to a natural state of wholeness and joy
• Identifying and clearing blocks that inhibit one’s full expression, in order to respond in more positive loving ways to events that had previously caused upset
• Mindful eating, breathing and walking and deepening your relationship with nature
• Exploring the wisdom of the Native American medicine wheel, which symbolises the individual journey we each must take to find our own path
• Walking the healing labyrinth
Through our workshops, we open up the possibility of being able to live in a dynamic state of harmony and balance and to conduct ourselves in loving joyful ways. We explore science, consciousness and spirit
In these times of rapid change and uncertainty, the traditional ways of thinking and resolving problems are losing their effectiveness and resulting in people feeling overstressed.
If a person remains persistently locked in this state, the immune system deteriorates and the long-term effects can lead to conic illness. A tell telling sign is when we are unable to be receptive and responsive
But it doesn’t have to be this way. If we open ourselves up to new ways of perceiving and thinking, we can create a healthier, balanced and better life for ourselves and those around us.
We all have the ability to positively direct our energy flows and maintain harmony and balance within the interaction between ourselves and our environment.
