Rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit
The body can naturally rejuvenate itself
Every living thing has an inner drive to express life. Most illness can be traced to emotional suppression or over expression, blocking the natural flow of life energies. Emotional energies must be released in order for the body to rejuvinate intself.
Health and long life are a matter of applying some specific principles together with therapeutic applications, including meditation, hydrotherapy and massage.
We offer a program to revitalize the body, quiet the mind and ignite the spirit.
The purpose of the programme is to infuse you with a sense of renewed energy and power, revitalise your skin and muscles, and improve your complexion and vital bodily functions, such as digestion, blood flow, and nervous system activity. In short, this programme is a physical and health promotion effort through treatment, education and spiritual practice based on Tibetan rejuvenation principles.
Our programme consists of two stages:
Stage one - This is the purification period and includes cleansing and detoxification, followed by rejuvenation therapy which relies largely on herbal preparations. The purification period is conducted at Matara where participants will cleanse, detoxify and organise an appropriate health plan in terms of nutrition, behaviour, exercise, meditation and spiritual growth.
Stage two - The second stage is done during one’s normal life at home and involves the regular use of a herbal rejuvenation pill for a period of three months.
Introduction to Tibetan rejuvination:
Tibetan Medicine ranks among one of the oldest, continuously used medical systems in the world. It has been successfully practiced for centuries in Tibet, China, Mongolia and Buddhist regions of Russia, Central Asia and the Himalayas. The Tibetan medical system can contribute substantially to maintaining a healthy mind and healthy body. Like the traditional Indian and Chinese systems, Tibetan medicine views health as a question of balance. A variety of circumstances such as diet, lifestyles, seasonal and mental conditions can disturb this natural balance, which gives rise to different kinds of disorders.
Treatment involves dietary and behavioural advice, medication and accessory therapies. Medicines are obtained from natural sources such as herbs, minerals and organic products and are prepared under controlled conditions. These ingredients are inexpensive and easily available. The medicines themselves have few side-effects, are not symptomatic and have a preventive as well as a curative effect. Tibetan medicine is deeply integrated with Buddhist practice and theory which stresses the indivisible interdependence of mind, body and vitality.
